The Bucket List.

On my old blog I had a ‘life list’ that included things that I wanted to do before I got too old and stubborn to do anything but sit, knit and talk to my hoards of cats ;] Well, I thought I would do the same thing for this blog. Some of them are new ideas, some are old ones that are carried over from my old blog and some are ideas that I have on my Pinterest board.

  1. Finish my degree.
  2. Travel to one country on every continent.
  3. Learn a new language/be able to hold a full conversation in another language without hesitations.
  4. Go on a Contiki Tour.
  5. Visit Gallipoli.
  6. Attend a masquerade ball.
  7. Visit all these bakeries and these coffee shops.
  8. Get another tattoo Completed 7th November 2013
  9. Gift my mum and step-father an all-expenses paid cruise.
  10. Experience a white Christmas.
  11. Fill a bookshelf.
  12. Backpack around Europe.
  13. Have my palm read.
  14. Visit the Sky Tower.
  15. Get to the top of Mount Te Aroha and Mount Maunganui.
  16. Go to New York and try a bona fide Cronut.
  17. Visit the Trevi Fountain and make a wish.
  18. Travel from the West Coast to the East Coast of America.
  19. Visit a sex store and make a purchase.Completed 25th March 2014
  20. Attend Coachella.
  21. Have a picnic in the park…with wine.
  22. Go on a holiday alone.
  23. Pay off my student debt. Ick.
  24. Go frolic in Disneyland.
  25. Donate blood.
  26. Get my full licence : Completed 17th November 2015
  27. Go to the zoo.
  28. …Go to the circus.
  29. Live abroad for three months.
  30. Swim with dolphins.
  31. …Then go cage diving with sharks.
  32. Visit Paul Walker and Roger Rogas’ memorial site.
  33. Go camping.
  34. Visit a naked spa in Germany.
  35. Drive the Autobahn.
  36. Travel in first class…just because I can 😉
  37. Study or complete an internship abroad.
  38. Go skinny dipping.
  39. Visit the Acropolis.
  40. Visit the Harry Potter Studios in London.
  41. Sleep under the stars.
  42. Get serious about blogging and go self-hosted.
  43. Go on a safari.
  44. Attend a Brunch Club event!Completed 20th June 2015
  45. Go to the airport and buy tickets for a random flight.
  46. See the Seven Wonders of the world.
  47. Visit Wellington.Completed 4th September 2016
  48. Ride in a hot air balloon.
  49. …and a helicopter.
  50. Partake in a winery tour.
  51. Attend a book signing by my favourite author.
  52. Build a snowman.
  53. Make every recipe in a cookbook.
  54. Catch a bouquet.
  55. Run in a colour run.
  56. See Ground Zero.
  57. Finish buying Christmas gifts before Christmas.
  58. Write a letter to Juliet : Completed 1st April 2015
  59. Visit friends I’ve made in the blogging/WordPress communityCompleted 5th February 2014
  60. Pay for a stranger’s meal.
  61. Go to a concert : Completed 15th July 2016
  62. Write down three hundred and sixty-five things I’m grateful for.

  74. Visit the Lamborghini museum in San’tAgata Bolognese, Italy.
  75. Get a fur baby (preferably a puppy like this or this orrrr this).
  76. Own my own home.
  77. Attend the full moon party in Thailand.
  78. Go to Hollywood.
  79. Be able to say ‘hello’ in twenty different languages.
  80. Master the art of walking in heels.
  81. Have a piece of my writing publishedCompleted June 2016
  82. Host a Christmas dinner.
  83. Complete a barista/bartending course.
  84. Find a job that makes me happy and rich.
  85. Volunteer/donate to a good cause.
  86. Earn an overall grade of A+ : Completed 13th November 2014

  1. Lol, I think the chopsticks are funny. I thought I was the only one who couldn’t use chopsticks well, coming from a Chinese family. I always found it hard to pick up the rice with chopsticks, you know? Good luck with chopsticks, using chopsticks is an art!

    It’s Jazz, the once upon a time blogger from a while ago haha! Started up a new one yay, along with a Bloglovin account that I have followed you on so will be more up to date now!

    Just had a nosey through your bucket list after completing mine and we have quite a few similar things! I’d definitely recommend sleeping under the stars, one of the most beautiful things you can do, even from your back garden!

    1. Thank you! My goal is to go somewhere new every week or two! I figure that I need to explore Auckland somehow…might as well do it by visiting cafes in every area 😉 I am a part of the group on Facebook! My friends and I plan on joining a brunch sometime this year!
