The Blogger

I’m so glad that you stumbled across my little blog. Please, grab a cup of coffee or wine because it’s five o’clock somewhere and stay a while! Give us a chance to get better acquainted.

My name is Kendel and I’m twenty-three years old, which means I can finally claim the ‘twenty-something’ title. I live on the Coromandel and I am a public relations graduate. I’m also a mother to the sweetest little boy, Caelen. I might be slightly biased, but give him a chance. I’m sure you’ll fall in love with him too.

I have been in love with the written word for as long as I can remember. Every blogger is, right?

Little Misadventures is my third (and hopefully final) attempt at creating a little niche for myself. This is where I unleash my inner thoughts, my adventures, my trials and triumphs, and everything else as I begin this journey as “an adult” …whatever that is.

It’s a big world out there, but if you would like to get to know a Kiwi girl (without the small talk) then come along for the ride! It’s going to be a wild one.

  1. Hi Kendel! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. So glad to have you on board. You seem a very interesting person, with a strong personality and clear ideas of what you want. You should definitely pick up Spanish again, it’s a beautiful language 😉 (let’s pretend I’m not from Spain haha). Looking forward to reading more from you.

    Have a great day! 🙂

  2. Hi! Thanks for the follow!

    1) I, too, am a lover of the written word and can totally sympathize with the notion of wanting to work in any field that involves writing/reading! So many choices!
    2) I am SO jealous you are in New Zealand! I have always wanted to go there!

Can’t wait to read more of your posts. Happy Blogging! – Jara

    1. Hey petal! Aw, thank you so much! I actually haven’t gone abroad…and I’m not going to be. After a lot of thinking I decided that it wasn’t a viable choice for my college career ;[ Hopefully I’ll be able to go abroad sometime in the future though! Thank you so much for your comment! :]

  4. Hi! I just found your blog and you seem like such a great, down to earth writer! I can’t wait to read some more of your Kiwi Adventures 🙂 When I visited New Zealand a few years ago, I was amazed by it’s beauty – my dream is to study abroad there after my Gap Year!

    1. Aw, thank you! 🙂 It definitely is something special. I love my little corner of the world 😀 You should definitely come back! One day (even if we’re old and wrinkly) we can have a blate! (Because I’m sure I’ll still be blogging about the millions of cats I’ll have by then).

  5. Little Misadventures,

I just got really excited to find a blogger who is a student as well! I’ve been searching for a while, and I’m happy to have come across your blog (not that I don’t overly enjoy all the style blogs I follow and all the hilarious lifestyle blogs that don’t apply to me yet)! I actually just started my own blog (yesterday) to document all of my experience from school, life, etc. I can’t say that it hasn’t been fun so far! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for your blog. Consider me a new follower! 🙂

    1. New Zealand is the best place ever! Ha. I might be just a little biased 😉 I actually haven’t been there yet! I do want to go to them at some point though! I haven’t even been to our capital, so I have a lot of travelling to do in the future!

  7. Girl, I can relate to this! I’ve had multiple blogs in the past, and still wonder sometimes if I’ve found my niche as a blogger. I’m interested to hear more about your misadventures!

    1. Gosh, this “niche” thing will do my head in! Haha. I’ve kind of grown accustom to the fact that I’ll always be the person who writes about everything and nothing at the same time 😉 It is a rare art form that I have grown to love. Haha. So glad you found my blog! 🙂
