If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I’m back in Kuaotunu! Don’t know where that is? Kuaotunu is a small village in the Coromandel area. Small is not an understatement. This town is actually described as a ‘village’ on the internet. It’s a cool place, but it is very, very small. I actually kind of like it.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I wrote another piece for My Wedding! It’s a piece on hair ideas for weddings. Destination weddings in particular. Most of them can actually be used for everyday occurrences and then be jazzed up with accessories for a wedding. I wish I was talented enough to do my hair every day.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I am putting off unpacking all my stuff. Partially because my back is so sore, partially because I’m going to be moving rooms soon. Right now, I am happy to live surrounded by half unpacked stuff. I think I’m going to live by the ‘unpack it as I need it’ theme.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have been swamped with college work. I have been reading and reading and reading. It feels good to be learning new stuff, but it also feels like I’m chasing my tail. I can’t believe it’s week three already! I don’t know if it’s just me, but this semester seems to be flying by! It’s my last semester (hopefully) and I’m more than happy, but I wouldn’t mind if it slowed down just a little bit. You know, so I can catch my breath.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have been watching House, M.D. obsessively for the last week. Thank god for Netflix, right? 😉 I’ve never watched the show before, so I get to start right from season one. I just love watching them work through all the cases. I don’t know why, but my brain loves the slightly analytical side of the show. I also might have a slight crush on Jesse Spencer.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have been spending a lot of time in bed. Alone. Boring. My back has been so sore that I’ve barely been able to walk around. I’ve been having back pain for a few weeks, but it has gotten painful over the last week. I’ve been curled up in bed with wheat bags and hot water bottles.
