If We Were on a Coffee Date | Vol. 21

If We Were on a Coffee Date (21), Kendel @ Little Misadventures #NZbloggers

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have been having a very bad run with my health. I’ve been feeling sick and tired for a while now. I’ve also had a weird infection in my finger. One month later and it doesn’t hurt or look infected anymore, but my other hand is infected now. Brilliant. I’m going to the doctor today and hopefully this will be fixed within a week or two.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I’m currently watching Archer on Netflix. I got introduced to the show a little while ago, and I’m in love with it. I’ve been looking for new shows to watch and that has definitely filled the ‘I have no idea what to watch’ hole in my life.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have been struggling with blogging lately. I know I just said that I have grand plans for this site (and I do), but I’m just lacking the motivation to write. I love it. I really, really do, but my brain just shuts down whenever I open a new post. It’s the worst.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that it’s almost the end of the semester! That’s crazy to think about, right? June 3rd is the final day of class lectures before study break for exams. Guess who is the luckiest student and doesn’t have any exams? That’s right 😉 I think I managed to pick my college classes relatively well this semester. I have three assignments and a quiz left then I’m free and clear! Hooray. This college semester has been very different for me. I’ve been studying online, which has been brilliant. It has also been incredibly hard at times. Personally, I think I’m hardwired to be an on campus student. Part of me doesn’t even feel like a college student right now. I think I’ve visited the campus a handful of times in the last couple of months…and it just feels weird.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I ran into a complete stranger last week. I was walking across the square by High Street in Auckland and I spotted a guy. He spotted me. We went to coffee. It took a while, but I’ve finally figured out who he is. Ha. Thank you to the friends who pointed out that I should have known who he was when I met him 😉

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have a great girl meets boy story. I might tell you guys one day.

Tell me…

  • What have you been doing lately?
  • What do you do when you have writer’s block?

  1. I love these posts! You will find your writing motivation again. I’m the same if I’m not feeling it then I just cannot write posts.

  2. Girl meets boy story…….. Now you have to write about it! I’ve also been having some odd health things going on lately, nothing major, just random stomach aches and migraines. And I’ve been riding the blogging struggle bus for months now, I totally know how you feel! I haven’t gotten over it yet… But I’m sure you will soon! 🙂
