If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I finally found a dress to wear to my friend’s wedding! Hallelujah. I found it yesterday and it is beautiful. It’s a high-low navy blue dress. I’ve decided to pair it with a sparkly belt and now I just have to find shoes! Ah, being a girl is hard 😉
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I really love Auckland. I’ve spent a fair bit of time in the city lately, and I just fall in love with it more every time. No joke. I am a city girl through and through. I love the hustle and bustle of the place. It just feels alive. All the men walking around in suits don’t hurt either 😉
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I went on a brilliant brunch date with Angela from A Style Collector! She is absolutely lovely and I always have such a good time with her. We decided to go out to Ortolana and the food was so good. I decided to get the folded eggs, which came with sausage, heirloom tomatoes, avocado and chilli. Of course I couldn’t resist the urge to put a photo on Instagram 😉 After walking around for a little while, we decided to get dessert at Milse. I got a chocolate tart and it was to die for. I also got to cuddle with Turbo, so the day was pretty damn great.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I went out again this week. I went out to Soul Bar & Bistro on the Viaduct Harbour. It was so, so good. I had salt and pepper squid for entrée, chicken for main, and a beautiful feijoa dessert. Contrary to how I’m making it sound, I didn’t go to this place alone. This mystery second person got creme brûlée and wow. I might have had a case of dessert envy. If you ever go to Soul then you need to try it.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have loved reading about your relationships! Really. I didn’t know how you were going to react to my post about dating older men, but it has been awesome! You guys are the best. Now I just have to catch up on all the comments!
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I am going to my mum’s house tonight or tomorrow. I can’t make up my mind. Typical. I am going away for a little while, and I am really, really looking forward to it. I feel like I’ve been in my Auckland bubble for a little while and I am really ready to go for an adventure.
