If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have been trying to cut back on buying coffee. How? I’ve stopped taking my eftpos card out with me. Guys, it actually works. Ha. Who would have thought? I’m still holding a flame for Best Ugly Bagels though. I visited Best Ugly Bagels yesterday, actually. I had the Yodi bagel and it was delicious. I have so much love for that bagel. It has pastrami, habanero mustard, swiss cheese and pickles. Who wouldn’t love that?
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I’m considering doing more study next year. I’m graduating from my Bachelor of Communication degree this year (hopefully), which means that I’ll be an official public relations person! My mind keeps circling back to the media law paper I completed last year. I loved it. So much. Possibly even more than some of the public relations papers that I’ve studied 😉 Maybe I need to do something in law. Watch this space.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have been waking up earlier in the morning. Sometimes I wake up at 5am, sometimes I wake up at 6am. I’m turning into a morning person, and I’m not hating it. I love being able to watch the sun rise as I plan my day. I love being able to wake up slowly and do what I want instead of having to run around in a panic.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I tried macarons for the first time yesterday! I was walking around the city centre and I found myself at Milse. They were delicious. I got the caramel popcorn, dolce de leche, espresso, and feijoa macarons. My favourite was the feijoa macaron.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I’ve been having car troubles over the last couple of days. The battery in my car went flat over night. Twice. I woke up yesterday and had to get jump started (again) and have the battery tested. It turns out that the battery was burnt out and couldn’t charge or hold its charge. Now there’s a shiny new battery sitting in my car. Here’s hoping that my troubles are over. Still, it would be nice if you had your fingers crossed for me. Just for a little while longer.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have been catching up on my shows on Netflix. I’ve been watching a lot of Deadly Women. I love it. Probably a bit too much. I don’t like hearing about the crimes, but I do love hearing about the way they are profiled. There’s a former FBI criminal profiler who is a prominent figure on the show. I find that everything she says is just so interesting. Fun fact: I almost studied criminology at college. I’m still interested in it, actually. I mean, who isn’t interested in that sort of stuff?
