If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I’m back in Auckland! It feels so good to be back. I love this city so, so much. If you read my post last week, you would know that I tried to go to Auckland twice before I finally admitted (temporary) defeat. I got back to town last Friday night and I have been living it up (AKA catching up with friends) since I’ve been back in town. Auckland is good.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have an exam in eight days and nine hours. I might have a countdown going, so I can track exactly how freaked out I should be. I’m not usually on the study grind this early, but I’m a) scared, and b) I like the topics that I’m studying. College is good, but college can be damn hard. That being said, I’m sure I’ll be begging to go back to college once I finish at the end of the year.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I made an appointment with Family Planning. No, I’m not pregnant. I’m trying to keep it that way, too. I haven’t talked about it on the blog, but I have a lot of issues when it comes to birth control. I’ve talked to a few people and done research. A lot of research. I’ve come to the conclusion that the Mirena is the best fit for me. We’ll see what the nurse says after my appointment.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I’m typing this as I listen to an episode of Grimm. I am beyond obsessed with that show. I would be lying if I said that part of my excitement wasn’t based on my ability to catch up on all my favourite shows.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that my Missguided shipment came in! I am utterly obsessed with half of it. I found that the bodysuits I ordered were too small (ugh), so I have to return them. I also ordered a dress, but it is just a bit too big and absolutely distorts my body shape. The clothes themselves are very pretty, but they aren’t right for me.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I am looking forward to my holiday. I think this is the most time I have had off since the start of November. I wish I was kidding. I just have to get through one more week then I have a week to frolic about Auckland with this lovely girl! I cannot wait.

- How do you study: over a long period of time or cramming at the last-minute?
- What sort of birth control do you use?
