If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I am sick of this heat. It is too hot and I feel like I can’t escape it. The air conditioning in my car doesn’t cool down properly. It feels like I’m constantly lukewarm. Ick. At the moment, my ideal vacation would be to a place that is freezing. Like, Sweden, for example.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I am planning a trip to Queenstown. I have been wanting to go there for the longest time. Finally, I am really wanting to go there. I want to go there badly enough to look at flights, accommodation, and things to do. I’ve told people that I want to jump out of a plane for my birthday. Skydive. I’ve been looking into going skydiving while I was in Queenstown. Exciting, right?
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that my diet has been terrible. Candy, cake, bread, and chips have been an almost daily occurrence. Whoops. Where is my willpower? Can someone please return it to me?
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I have been looking at graduate jobs in Wellington. I really, really want to stay in Auckland at the end of this year, but Wellington just has more communication oriented jobs. Can you keep your fingers (and toes) crossed for me? I feel like Auckland is my place and I would really like to stay there.
Please, career gods. Can you hear me?
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I need time out. I’ve figured out that I am a pretty social person. My job requires me to be able to talk to a lot of people all day, every day. It wouldn’t work if you can’t talk to strangers or handle a crowd of people. This job has taught me a lot about myself, but it has also taught me that I need to take a break to recharge. An hour a day alone is all I need to feel like a new person. I need to remember that it is okay to go and lock myself away for an hour if I need it.
If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that one of my best friends is getting married. Soon. End of April soon. I am so crazy excited for them. I’m also excited to be attending a wedding that I’m not working at 😉 It is going to be so good! Side note: Does anyone feel like being my +1 for the event?
