Taking Stock #054

Taking Stock, Kendel @ Little Misadventures

Making :: I’m making a list of blog posts that I want to write. It is getting quite long and I am really, really excited about it. Never have I ever been so excited about blogging.

Drinking :: Coffee. Standard answer for a standard question.

Reading :: I’m still reading The Storyteller, but I’ve also started reading another book called Leave Your Mark. I’m about halfway through the book and I love it so much. I have a whole lot of books I want to read and reviews that I want to write.

Eating :: My nana baked shortbread and the cookies have been taunting me. Last night, I went to a pizza place and ate a salad. Shock. I then came home and ate three shortbread cookies. It’s all about balance, right? 😉

Wishing :: I wish that I could eat all the shortbread in the world and not gain a pound. That would be lovely.

Enjoying :: I’m enjoying the slightly cooler weather. I figured out that I’m not a summer person, so these grey skies and cooler temperatures are making me very, very happy.

Waiting :: I’m still waiting for my last little (now late) Christmas present to be delivered. I got an email saying that it was dispatched on December 28th. I have absolutely zero patience.

Wondering :: What this year is going to bring. 2015 was the year that woke me up to what I want and need in my life. Hopefully 2016 will continue along the same lines.

Hoping :: That my last delivery arrives this week. I just want to play with it! Ha.

Wearing :: A cuddly jumper.

Trying :: I’m trying to get motivated to get out of bed. I was going to exercise before I got ready for work…but I don’t think it’s going to happen. Ha. I’m really into exercising in the afternoon, which is nothing short of a miracle.

Feeling :: Like I need another coffee. Standard.

Tell me…

  • What is your favourite drink?
  • What books are you reading?

  1. I’m currently drinking bottled water. Friends call me a fountain because I drink so much – cheeky haha I’m also reading a book on tarot. I’m that sort of person. I find it fascinating!

      1. I start learning the basics of tarot reading in 2001 then picked it up again in 2005 where I decided I wanted to read properly. I have 3 sets of tarot cards – that’s serious plus I do a few readings for those that are close to me which is good practice until you get the gist of things. Go on have a go haha
