If We Were on a Coffee Date | Vol. 7

If We Were on a Coffee Date, Kendel @ Little Misadventures-4

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that this date is on you. I’m turning into the cheapest person around. Unfortunately that means that I’m no longer buying coffee from cafés. It is slowly breaking my heart. It is actually part of my 101 in 1001 list. No café coffee for a whole month. I got this. I’m sure my bank account will thank me.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I saw a Lamborghini in the city. I was with a blog friend of mine and she witnessed the freak out first hand. There was a bit of a fangirl moment. I’m not even ashamed. If you knew how much I absolutely loved those cars then you would understand. I’m actually considering getting myself this book for Christmas 😉 That being said, I am also known to fangirl over Maseratis, the Audi R8/R8 V10 Plus (which may or may not be my current screen lock), and the occasional Mustang. (And BMWs, and Ferrari, and Bugatti).

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I am officially 100% single. Surprised? Shouldn’t be. I mentioned that I tend to run from things when they get complicated.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I am way too obsessed greek yogurt and strawberries. I have eaten kilo upon kilo of the stuff. I guess I could be craving worse things.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I managed to pick up some hours at work! Thank goodness. I have been stressing about this ‘no work’ thing for a while now. Lord knows that Auckland is not the cheapest city to live in, so the thought of having no work was making me mildly depressed. That being said, I have two more weeks until I move back to the Coromandel.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that this year has been…good. Nothing and everything has changed. If that makes sense. I never thought I would have found such happiness in Auckland…but here we are. Here I am. I am so beyond happy. Sometimes the smallest change makes the biggest difference.

Tell me…

  • Are you a fan of cars?
  • What food(s) have you been craving lately?
  • What is the best thing that has happened this year?

  1. It’s been a while since I went on a coffee date. I usually go for a meal.

I like old cars with round curves. I’ve been eating a lot lately, so I’ve been craving simple food, cooked well and the best most exciting thing that has happened this year is that I’ve readjusted my passions and I’m getting paid to do what I love.

  2. Coro envy! I usually get to spend a week max. up the Kauaeranga over the summer (though I snuck an additional day or so into the Prana Festival @ Opoutere last new year), it’d be a tight fight between there and the Marlborough Sounds as to the dream place to live!
