Photo Challenge: Close Up

It’s official. College has zapped my creative talent.

All of my energy is going towards reading and note taking at the moment. I absolutely love my classes, but it seems to be taking a while to get back into the ‘groove’ of things. The break between semesters was enough for my brain to switch to ‘relaxation mode’ and to forget what it was like to be a college student. Dumb move.

I forgot how draining battling for a parking space, staring at lecture slides for hours at a time, and don’t even get me started on the being social part. Some days I’m all happy, happy, joy, joy! and can’t wait to see my classmates. Other days I consider all the ways I can murder them without getting in trouble. Don’t judge me. I’m technically a third year college student and I have been stuck with first years for a long, long time now. I am over their antics and repetitive questions. I am well and truly ready to have a cap and gown and be walking across the stage.

I’m going to stop myself before this turns into a full-blown rant. Right. Ready? Let’s hit the restart button.

My writer’s block had me looking at the Daily Post blog again. Am I complaining? No. Am I going to partake in their photo challenge this weekObviously, if you managed to read the title. Of course I am! This week the challenge is to discover hidden details that can only be seen up close.

I wanted my photos to look ‘put together’ like last week, but it just wasn’t happening. So be prepared for some randomly thrown together photos 🙂

    1. Aw, thank you! That means a lot 🙂 I’m always a bit iffy about my photos because I have a simple point and shoot. It’s amazing what those cameras and a bit of editing can actually do! The last photo is definitely my favourite 🙂

    1. Some days are better than others haha. I’m in required papers, so I see the same people EVERY DAY. It can be good, but everyone knows that variety is the spice of life 😉 Parking…I will forever complain about parking haha. I swear if the college just magicked up one more parking lot the whole issue would disappear. I’m trying to do that! Two more years to go!

    1. The sand one is definitely my favourite! I would say no…but it just might 😉 I feel like I keep going around in circles, which isn’t helping my frustration. I’m sure you’ll be fine! It’ll be intense, but it’ll be worth it 🙂
