I found this blog post on Sinead’s blog and I loved it so much that I would I would give it a shot too! Who doesn’t like getting to know other people? I’ve started to see a few new faces around my blog, so I figure that this is the perfect time to ‘introduce’ myself to the new followers! 🙂
A. Attached or Single? I’m single at the moment and I constantly say that I don’t want a boyfriend. Ha. I think I’m slowly becoming to open to the idea though. We’ll see if anyone catches my eye 😉
B. Best Friend? I think it’s rather unusual to pick between a group of friends. I’ve been friends with most of them since the very start of high school, so all of them are very near and dear to me. I can’t pick my “best friend”, so my best friend is officially the family cat. I am a crazy cat lady.
C. Cake or Pie? Definitely cake. I am a sucker for a good cake. My favourite is feijoa. Yummm. If you haven’t tried a feijoa then you are definitely missing out on life.
D. Day of Choice? My favourite day is Sunday. I don’t know why, but it is. I just love the relaxed feel about it.
E. Essential Item? I hate to sound materialistic, but my essential item would have to be my phone. I’m attached to it haha. I wouldn’t leave the house without it. Obsessed 😉
F. Favourite Colour? My favourite colour would have to be wine red or a teal-ish colour. My duvet cover is teal.
G. Gummy Bears or Worms? I’m not a fan of both of those things, but I would have to pick worms over gummy bears. If you give me sour worms then I will love you for life.
H. Home town? Tauranga, but I moved from there when I was two. I have moved around a lot in my life and all those places feel like my true “home town”.
I. Indulgence? I have to agree with Sinead and say that pizza is my thing. I love pizza. There is an amazing pizza place in my town and they make a wicked Cajun chicken pizza. Love, love, love. I have so much love for that place. I’m also pretty fond of cake.
J. January or July? I love July. I feel like winter is my jam. I love the colder months more than summer.
K. Kids? One day…like ten years (or more) in the future. I love kids and I do want kids of my own, but I have things that I want to do before I settle down.
L. Life is not complete without…? Family, friends and experiences! I feel like life is empty and meaningless without those things. They are what makes the world go round.
M. Memory you cherish? Seeing my mum and dad marrying their partners. It was pretty obvious that it was a special moment (duh) for both of them and it was just awesome to see them so happy in that moment.
N. Numbers of brothers/sisters? I have one “full” blood sister, a step sister and three step brothers. My mum and dad both remarried, so I have a huge family now.
O. Oranges or Apples? Always and forever oranges. I love them so much. I would eat five oranges a day if I was allowed.
P. Pet Peeves? People being two-faced, interrupting during a conversation, someone chewing their nails or not being able to look me in my eyes when talking to me. I think the last one bothers me the most.
Q. Quotes? “The trouble is, you think you have time.” I love this quote. It really hits home when I read about all the horrible things happening around the world. We always say that we’re going to do something later or tomorrow or that it can keep for another week. We don’t know that tomorrow is guaranteed, so why put off things that you can do right now? Go tell that person that you like (or love) them, go on that adventure, buy that house, and do whatever makes your heart happy. Life is too short to do something that doesn’t make you feel alive.
R. Reasons to smile? Family, friends, traveling, sunshine, forest walks, writing, photography and cuddles with the family pets…along with a million other things. This list could go on forever and ever. There are always a million reasons to smile.
S. Season of choice? Autumn. I think I might be a little biased because I was born in autumn 😉 The colours are always prettier in autumn.
T. Tea or Coffee? Coffee. Always coffee. Coffee makes the world continue to spin.
U. Unknown fact about me? I get incredibly attached to my cars. They’re my babies. I actually cried when I found out that my last car had been destroyed. (My new car is the one on the left, my old car is the one on the right).
V. Vegetable? Carrots. I hate 99% of vegetables, but I will never say no to carrot. Plus, who doesn’t want to see in the dark? Cmon, be honest now 😉
W. Worst habit? Procrastinating. I think everyone does this, but I swear I’m the Queen of Procrastination. I could teach classes on how to procrastinate.
X. X-Ray or Ultra-sound? I’ve had several x-rays during my dental work and when I was having problems with my asthma. I also broke my foot and I got an x-ray for that too.
Y. Your favourite trip? My favourite trip was probably when I went to Australia. We went to a theme park and walked around the whole day. It was when I first met my brothers and the whole trip was just amazing. Love, love, love. I can’t wait to go back to Australia.
Z. Zodiac sign? Taurus. I actually put a lot of stock in zodiac signs. I think I’m the epitome of a Taurus chick, so please don’t cross me 😉 Hell hath no fury takes on a whole new meaning. Trust me.
