Making :: I’m making goals of things that I need to accomplish in the next few days so I can move out! My car got taken into the mechanics, so I think I have an extra day or two up my sleeve 😉 I’m also making plans to change the theme of the blog and my about page. Any suggestions and names of your favourite themes would be greatly appreciated!
Drinking :: Not enough water! I put a bottle in the fridge/freezer and promptly forget about it. I think this marks three days in a row that I have forgotten about it. Whoops. Good thing I like coffee, right? 😉
Reading :: I’m reading Fifty Shades Freed by E.L. James. Yes, I have read two of the books and yes, I am determined to read all the books in the trilogy. No shame.
Eating :: I just had an amazing dinner! It was chicken and a mixture of roast vegetables. It sounds bland, but it was much more amazing than it appears.
Wishing :: That time would slow down…just a little. I love feeling like I’m moving towards something new, but I wish I felt more prepared for this move. I feel like I’m running around like a headless chicken at the moment. Ugh.
Enjoying :: I’m still enjoying my time off. I’m not gonna lie, I really love it. Holidays are the best.
Waiting :: I’m waiting until I can get my car back. I was supposed to move to Auckland today, but clearly that hasn’t happened. I miss having a car. I got so used to just being able to get up and go that I forgot what a privilege having a car is.
Wondering :: I’m constantly wondering what living in Auckland is going to be like. It has been a bit of a mission to get a house and set up meetings with my landlord, so here’s hoping that it’s nothing but smooth sailing when I’m finally all moved in!
Hoping :: I have high hopes that my car gets fixed quickly. I took my car to the mechanics on Friday morning because something was ‘off’ about her. I didn’t think it was anything too major…until the mechanic took her for a drive and promptly forbade me from getting back in the driver’s seat. Uh, what? It turns out that the drive shaft universal was not only rusted, but moving about in a rather disturbing manner. Ha. He reckoned that it wouldn’t have been long before it would have snapped and then I would have been in real trouble.
Wearing :: New clothes! I went on a shopping trip and I got new shorts and dresses and jumpsuits and bras and ah, I’m just so excited! Everything has that great ‘new’ feel!
Trying :: I’m trying to be more helpful around the house because my mum has been identified as having glandular fever/mononucleosis. I’ve had it before, so I know how “fun” it is.
Feeling :: Like I could nap forever. I haven’t been getting a whole lot of sleep lately and it is starting to wreak havoc on me. Gah. Bring on the coffee.
