I’m sure y’all are sick of seeing that award badge by now, but (believe it or not) I’ve been nominated for the Liebster award again! I got nominated by the lovely Vee from I Write About You. She is an amazing blogger and a lovely person, so you should definitely go check out her blog! Thank you, thank you, thank you for nominating me!
The rules of the award are as follows:
+ Mention the person who nominated you with a link to their blog.
+ Answer the eleven questions the person that nominated you asked.
+ Nominate eleven other bloggers with a following of two hundred or less.
+ Create eleven of your own questions for them to answer.
+ Notify your nominees.
The questions Vee gave me:
What is your biggest accomplishment? My biggest accomplishment would be getting accepted into the study abroad programme of my choice. I chose to go to Lancaster University in England and the fact that I got accepted makes my day. (The fact that I declined their offer is completely irrelevant.)
Which post have you written that you are most proud of? Share a link! I have no idea. Honestly. I don’t have one that I’m “proud of” per se, but I wrote one about my realization about the future that I’m really, really like. It was a “waking up” moment for me, and it was one that was a long (ish) time coming.
Favourite part of blogging? My favorite part would be connecting with other people from around the world. I have made so many good friends through the blogging community that I wouldn’t have otherwise met. I am so, so grateful for that aspect.
If you could visit/travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Right now? I would probably go to Paris…or NYC…or Venice…or Madrid. I have a lot of places that I want to visit. I’ve always had the idea that Paris during Christmas (or any other time) is magical. I want to find that out for myself.
Biggest celebrity crush? Daniel Craig. I don’t know why, and I’m not even going to question it. I just like his face.
Who is your role model? I’m gonna be a total cliché and say my mother. She had been through a lot (to say the least) and I hope that I can handle my life with the same kind of badassery that she has.
Do you have any pets? Yes! We have two! My sister owns a Persian x Berman cat called Possum, and my parents own a purebred Labrador called Kyra. They are beautiful. (I’m currently working on my plan of adopting a dog of my own…in like five years.)
What is your idea of the world in 50 years? Hm, this one has me stumped. In fifty years I’ll be seventy and I have no doubt that the world would have changed a million times before that happens. If everything keeps going the way it does, then I wouldn’t be surprised if WWIII had happened or that someone was on the brink of going into a full-scale war with someone else. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were self driving cars…and anything else that can be driven. Whatever happens, it will be up to us now “twenty somethings”, our grandchildren and the little kiddies growing up right now to determine what the world will be like.
Share with us your guilty pleasure! My guilty pleasure is definitely sitting down with a giant pizza, some wine and just binge watching whatever happens to be on television. It is the best time…especially when finals are on 😉
Why did you start blogging? I started blogging when I was seventeen? I think. It could have been sixteen. My life is a little blurry during that time. Whoops. I started blogging because I had heard about it (somehow) and I decided to check it out for myself. I ended up finding some really amazing blogs and they inspired me to start my own. This is my third-and hopefully-my last blog.
+ If you could combine two animals to make a “super animal”, what would they be?
+ Why did you start blogging?
+ What is your ideal date?
+ How would you title your memoir and why?
+ Would you rather be on an island and have everything you want or be in the city with nothing, but you would be surrounded by people you love?
+ When did you last tell someone that you love them? (Go do it, RIGHT NOW.)
+ Who did you idolize when you were growing up?
+ Where would you live if you had to stay there forever?
+ Did you have an imaginary friend when you were growing up?
+ If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?
+ Tell us one (or more) of your favourite blogs/bloggers!
If anyone made it this far then consider yourself nominated as well! 🙂 I honestly love ‘accepting’ these awards because I get to find a tonne of different bloggers who are absolutely amazing human beings. I’m so grateful that I have made so many friends in the blogosphere and that some of them think my blog is good enough to get an award! You guys are awesome! Go do something nice for someone 🙂
