Here it is:

I’m sure you are sick of waiting by now. I’m sure you have already guessed what my company is, but I am here to tell you exactly what it is without side-stepping the issue or leaving any question unanswered.

Well, if that picture doesn’t speak for itself, I don’t know what will. Like I said, I selected a paper that allowed me to come up with my own company and then develop it further if I chose to do so. My company is a bit ‘out there’ in terms of what is ‘normal’ and ‘allowed’ in the context of college.

My company idea is to create a hotel that is based on a BDSM dungeon.

Now, before you get yourselves in a flap, no, I didn’t take this idea from the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise. I took this straight from my own slightly corrupted mind. Personally, I think that Fifty Shades of Grey doesn’t portray what really goes on in that kind of relationship. It is not about how you can punish a person or what control you have over them. It certainly doesn’t carry the sexual connotation that you believe it does.

Okay, I’m going to stop rambling and let our company ‘write up’ speak for itself!

The Château de Découverte is a luxury boutique hotel found in central Auckland, New Zealand that caters to all adult indulgences.

We offer the options of mystery boxes upon your stay (at an extra cost) with your choice of adult toys. The rooms available range from our luxurious vanilla rooms to our ‘themed’ rooms which are desired by our more adventurous clientele .

This is a place where you can put all your worries to one side and unleash the possibilities that have been chained in the back of your mind.

We want to bring the excitement back to life. We were told that “anything is possible” and the “possibilities are endless” in our lives, and these are qualities that our company strives to embody. We’re ‘grown ups’, we don’t have to stop playing. We are not here to tell you what you can’t do, but to show you everything that is possible.

This is a place for your imagination to run wild.

  1. I’ve been dying to read about it but I had shitty wifi connections back in Seattle. This is wonderfuuuuuuuuuuuul, you should be a business woman with journalism on the side 😉 I can’t imagine how much you had to sugar coat this project for your professor… or did he/she actually allowed that?

PS: I watched a documentary about Japan’s sex industry and they got hotel that offers “quick” stays (eg. $60 for one hour, etc) but I don’t think they offer any toys 😛
