Making :: coffee. A girl in my class had a company creation of an alarm clock that also set off your coffee pot to make you coffee. I think that is a brilliant (if somewhat done) idea. I love it. There is nothing worse than having to get up on a cold winters morning to have to make coffee. If only she could think of some way to teleport it to the bedroom…then we would be onto a real winner.
Drinking :: coffee. So much coffee. I swear I’ve forgotten what water tastes like.
Oh, right, it tastes like nothing.
Reading :: my marketing book. I’m telling you now, it’s a real page turner ;] I have a test on Thursday, so I’ve decided that it’s high time for me to “catch up” in this class. I am so close…and believe it or not, I actually like the marketing book. Marketing might not be “my thing” but this book definitely makes it interesting.
Wanting :: to sleep. I seriously cannot get enough of it. I’ve taken to curling into a little ball on the couch and just napping whenever I go to see a friend of mine. How’s that for entertainment? Ha. I’m sure he thinks I’m a box of birds.
Looking :: at the spread sheet of assignment deadlines…and how the rows are steadily disappearing. Oh, happy days. I’m not going to lie, initially, I was freaked out by the sheer amount of assignments that I had to complete this semester. Never have I ever had a workload like this. It is intense but doable. It’s challenging, and I love it. I wouldn’t change this for the world.
Now ask me again in eight weeks when exams are starting. Eep.
Eating :: chicken. I caved. I think I see an update post in the future.
Wishing :: that it could be the end of the week, for real. I am tired. Only five more days of lectures before we have mid-semester break though. Hallelujah. That will consist of me catching up in all my papers, and taking naps like it’s my job.
Enjoying :: snuggling with my hot water bottle. They’re like a version of a boy…but better. They never, ever complain when I push them away and they don’t try to grab my boobs. Win-win.
Waiting :: until this dreaded marketing test is over. This test (so I’m told) has a pass rate of 40%. That is awful and I am scared.
Liking :: MY NEW CAR. I have a new car and her name is Izzy. She’s a Toyota Lexus IS200 and she is beautiful. I am completely, totally smitten. She’s my baby girl and I’m not afraid to admit it.
Wondering :: whether the group work will get done or not…Here’s hoping.
Hoping :: that I’ve passed all of my assignments with flying colours. I have no idea where I’m supposed to pick them up from…or if they’re even available to be picked up yet. Well, there’s a flaw in my education.
Wearing :: track pants that I stole from my last partner. They are my sleeping pants when it is really cold. It’s winter here, so it’s cold all the time. Boo.
Thinking :: about how much coffee I can drink before I get the shakes. I am going to try this one day.
Trying :: to get myself out of bed. I have been having cold showers for the past couple of days because I was the last one up. #weekendprobs But I am determined for this week to be the week of hot showers. Yip. Now if only my bed wasn’t so warm and comfortable…
Feeling :: motivated: to read my marketing book. I love it. In fact, I actually slept with it last night. If that isn’t dedication, then I don’t know what is.
