…And the challenge continues! I was going to write about all the things I loved about America because I did live there once upon a time…but it didn’t happen. Opps. Just for the record: I do love America. It definitely has a special place in my heart.
Day Five: Super Powers
One thing I have always wished for is the gift of teleportation. I mean, how handy would that be?! If I wanted to pop over to Spain for the afternoon, I could. If I wanted to go and see a friend in Sweden, I could. If I wanted to rob a bank, I could.
Well, that escalated quickly.
I think I became obsessed with teleportation when I realized how much I wanted to travel. The travel bug bit me when I was a young un’. When I was five I decided that I wanted to travel to Italy, whether it was going to kill me or not. Fifteen years later and Italy is still in my top three destinations…along with France and Spain.
After watching the movie Jumper with that dreamy guy in it (swoons) I became even more obsessed with teleportation. I mean, being able to teleport from room to room and inside banks…how cool is that?!
It’s like putting in a cheat for The Sims 3. If you put testingcheatsenabled true then you’ve just given your sim the gift of teleportation…and pretty much everything else. It is grand. I might be a little obsessed with the sims. I’m a child at heart. I’ve embraced this fact…and I’m way too excited for the release of The Sims 4 in September. Eep!
Point is: if I had the power of teleportation I would jump all around the world for the rest of my life. It would be a brilliant adventure. Hopefully one day (in my lifetime) they’ll sort this teleportation gig out.
