Welcome to…March.

So, when did March decide to show her face? I can’t believe we’re this far into the new year already. Am I the only one who feels like this is a little insane? Someone has hit the fast-forward button and I think I’m beginning to hate that person. Just a little. Lets look at those pesky goals I had for February, yes?

One} Sign, seal and deliver everything I need for university. Yes, yes, yes. I completed every form I had to and now it is out of my hands. Hopefully they can get organised and I can start receiving everything I need. Either that or I get back paid a niiiice amount. I think I would be happy either way.

Two} This is the month of healthy eating. Kind of; yes and no. I feel like I achieved this one to a certain extent. I won’t go into all the specific details but don’t ruin my {sort of} victory ;]

Three} Join the gym and purchase a new laptop. Turns out that I still haven’t joined the gym. I picked up all the paperwork on Friday…I just haven’t turned it back in yet. Whoops. I’ve decided that I’m going to pay upfront so I don’t have to think about it everrrr again. I did get a new laptop though. He is so shiny and beautiful. His name is Max; Max the MacBook Air.

Four} Do one ‘feel good’ thing a day. This didn’t have a ‘specific’ thing I had to do but I’m struggling with what might qualify as something I had done to ‘feel good’. So nope, that didn’t happen as far as I’m concerned. Whoops.

Five} Curse less. I have a baaaad potty mouth. It is awful. Some days I could rival a sailor or my step father, at the very least. No one likes to hear f-this and f-that coming from anyone.

Okay, enough with February and onto March. Does that sound good to you? Here is what I want to achieve this month:

1} Swear less and save more. Swearing is such a good but oh-so-unappealing way of expressing yourself and I’m sincerely trying to stop. Saving {in college} seems to be the bane of my existence. I don’t have a specific amount in mind, I just know I need to put some money away.

2} Exercise, exercise, exercise. This will be a lot easier {and fun} when I finish my gym membership papers; Pilates, gym classes, treadmill, bike and elliptical. Woo.

3} Finish assignments well before they are due. By ‘well before’ I mean at least two days before the due date. Talk about ambitious, right? I’m trying to turn over a new leaf ;] No one likes rushing around the morning something is due. That just results in a} sloppy work and a bare-minimum pass or b} a stroke of brilliance otherwise not encountered due to severe time restraints. I had both scenarios on my hands last year and while knowing you can push yourself when it comes down to the wire is fun, it is something I’d prefer to avoid this time round.

4} Make my bed every day and get my canvas/photo frames hung. Something so simple but so annoying to do. Both will make my room look better though.

  1. The best way I’ve found to keep exercising every day is to make a weekly workout schedule ahead of time, plan what to do and at what time, and then you won’t have to think about it. Good luck!

  2. An impressive share! I’ve just forwarded this onto
a coworker who has been doing a little research on this.
And he in fact ordered me dinner due to the fact that I stumbled upon it for
him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!!
But yeah, thanks for spending some time to discuss this topic here on your blog.
