Starting over.

A new year means a new start.

A fresh start.

I had been thinking about this for a while and this morning I finally bit the bullet and just did it. I purchased this blog domain and I’m going to spend the next couple of days forever working on it and making it my own. Creating a new blog is always scary and I’m 100% sure it’ll never be the exact way I want it to but hey, it’s my own space and I love it. This blog is so shiny and new. It’s full of promise for the new year as well.

New year, new blog and new me.

There is only six weeks and six days until university starts again and I’m beyond excited. I cannot wait to move back to the city and get back to the life that I’m used to. The life that I’m in love with. I love living with my family, don’t get me wrong, but I also have a love affair with town university city. That place is also full of people who I love. Hopefully this blog will help me create new connections with people who I too, fall in love with.

So what is this blog going to be about?

If you’ve read my about page then you have a vague idea what I’m going to write about. If not, this blog is going to be full of all sorts:

+ my crazy life stories

+ my musings and photography

+ recipes

+ guest posts/blog features

+ the odd rant or two about someone/something/life

So hey, if that sounds like something you would be interested in…or you just like taking a peek into another person’s life then be sure to follow along with this blog! I look forward to hearing from you!

  1. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it only $13 dollars or so to buy your own blog domain? per year? I’ve been thinking about buying my own too, but, I haven’t gotten around to it, just yet.

    1. Something similarrrrrrrrrrrrr to that, yes. However, you input information that you can either choose to have private or public and that is the decision between spending more {or less} money. You also have to consider the exchange rate…and the fact that I’m a penny-pinching university student who needs to save all the money I can before the semester begins.
